Facilities Assistant (Performance Venues)

Working Pattern: Grade 3: 25 hours per week: Monday to Sunday, 6:00am – 11:00am, 5 shifts, worked over 7 days.

Our Facilities Assistants play a key role in supporting the delivery of a range of exciting events welcoming audiences from the University, the city and beyond.

Facilities Assistants (Performance Venues) directly contribute to ensuring the experience and overall impression of the University by students, staff and visitors is one of excellence. We are looking for someone who has experience of working in an events venue or theatre and who is able to work in a safe and efficient way and understands the value of teamwork to achieve a common goal.

Key responsibilities of the role include activities which focus on:

• Event set-up and de-rig.
• Building operations and customer service.
• Health, safety, and security.
• Quality assurance and auditing of services and standards.
