We wish to appoint an Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) within the School of History. The position will be held from 1st September 2025. You will be a scholar with a growing international reputation in the history of the British Isles between c.1100 and 1500 and with experience of and commitment to teaching Latin. The successful candidate will spend at least 50% of their time teaching Latin to post-graduate students in medieval and early modern history. The remaining time will be spent teaching first-year and third-year history students studying British history, with a particular focus on Scottish history c.1100-1500. Candidates should hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent language teaching skills are essential.
