Data is critical to the University's success, and its significance is increasingly recognised. This role is based in the Research Information Office, leading a team of analysts responsible for the Data and Reporting work-stream of the Transforming Research Support Programme. Our objective is to establish the research support infrastructure at this world-leading institution to address the data challenges it will encounter over the next decade. We will achieve this by ensuring that data is collected, maintained, utilised, and shared in the most optimal manner.
As a senior leader, you will oversee a dedicated team of data analysts, fostering their professional development and encouraging collaborative practices. You will assist the team in overcoming complex implementation challenges, providing training, and guiding them to successful project outcomes and innovative problem-solving approaches. This position is part of the Research Strategy Office, and you will also be expected to serve on committees and manage senior stakeholders as a deputy for the Head of Research Data and Digital Services.
Our team primarily utilises R, SQL, SharePoint Online, Power BI, and Power Automate. However, each team member possesses a unique combination of experience, skills, preferred technologies, and problem-solving approaches. We are eager to identify candidates who can contribute to our team's success and collaborate effectively with our colleagues.
