The role
The School of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Electronic/Electrical Engineering Practice. The primary purpose of this teaching position is to develop and deliver lab based activities and other educational provision in the field of electrical and electronic engineering for two undergraduate programmes in the school. You will have experience in these areas in a further or higher education setting. You will join an academic team which is progressive and inventive, committed to a modern, integrated approach to the teaching. It promotes education through a multidisciplinary approach, integrated team teaching, and a wide range of teaching and assessment methods.
What will you be doing?
Develop, deliver and assess, as part of a team, practical activities within several first and second year units in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Electronic, Electrical Engineering undergraduate programmes. You will also supervise and assess Individual Research Projects and Group Industrial Projects in year 3 and 4 respectively for these programmes, as well as provide personal tutoring to students.
