Based at the Highlands and Islands Campus in Forres, the postholder will lead the design and delivery of learner-centered digital and in-person experiences, with a strong focus on accessibility, engagement, and innovation. A key responsibility includes the development of Edu-tourism courses, particularly in Sketchbooking, to attract diverse audiences and drive entrepreneurial growth. Additionally, the UX Designer will support initiatives such as the Rural Lab and Knowledge Exchange and Innovation strategy, enhancing knowledge exchange and industry collaboration.

The role requires expertise in UX design, service design, digital learning technologies, and accessibility standards, alongside the ability to collaborate with academics, industry partners, and community groups. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and delivering engaging learning experiences, proficiency in Canvas LMS and Adobe Creative Suite, and strong skills in user research, evaluation, and digital innovation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic thinker to contribute to GSA’s ambitions in entrepreneurial education, innovation, and professional development.
