The Student Experience Coordinator is a member of the Academic Development team, responsible for developing and coordinating a portfolio of projects, initiatives, and resources associated with the student's academic experience during their time at the Glasgow School of Art.
This is a student-focused coordination role. Working closely with the Head of Academic Development and in collaboration with Schools, Professional Service departments and GSASA, the role holder will ensure objectives are streamlined, cohesive and delivered on time, benefitting wider academic planning and enhancing student experience and engagement.
A crucial aspect of the role is to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the Glasgow School of Art, including academic staff, professional services, and external collaborators.
Principal duties include:
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience working in higher education and knowledge of student journeys from application through graduation. A strong skillset is required to carry out this role, including experience in organising and planning events, excellent communication, planning and IT skills. The ability to influence, collaborate, problem-solve and manage multiple tasks is essential in this role.
