About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Vaccine Group in the Department of Paediatrics as our Clinical Trials Receptionist and Administrator.
You will be responsible for providing a reception service and dealing with queries from members of the public, study participants, colleagues and team managers. Clerical duties include booking and rearranging appointments, maintaining visit calendars, data entry, minute taking, preparing paperwork on behalf of colleagues, management of post/deliveries and general office administration
You will be working in a growing department within the Medical Sciences Division. The Department of Paediatrics is a world leader in child health research and hosts internationally renowned research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases and vaccinology. The Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) is a leading clinical research group based at the Centre for Clinical Vaccinology & Tropical Medicine at the Churchill Hospital, led by Professor Sir Andrew Pollard. OVG is part of the Department of Paediatrics and conduct studies into new and improved vaccines for adults and children.
This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract initially for 12 months with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available.
