Post Doctoral Research Assistant in Analysis of Partial Differential Equation (PDE)

Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in Analysis of PDE with experience in the study of eigenfunctions of elliptic differential operators. The two-year post is funded by UKRI project Understanding Hot Spots conjecture for planar domains led by Dr Sugata Mondal.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

• A PhD (or shortly expected to obtain) in Mathematics.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience of research in mathematical analysis (analysis of PDE, geometric analysis, spectral geometry)
• Experience of presenting research
