Background
The Organisational Development team is based within the Human Resources Department, a strategic function which supports City St George’s core business through the development and support of our people. We work across all City St George’s Schools and Professional Services.
The team co-ordinates and delivers Organisational Development activity to individuals, teams and across the organisation in support of City St George’s Vision and Strategy.
We are now recruiting for an experienced OD practitioner to join our caring, creative team as an Organisational Development Manager.
Responsibilities
This role will undertake, initiate and develop projects and interventions related to Learning and Organisational Development activity, with a particular emphasis on working across the organisation on key strategic areas, including use of the apprenticeship levy, providing development support to staff, management information and advice and working with senior teams, in partnership with OD colleagues.
Person Specification
We are looking for an experienced OD practitioner, who is comfortable and confident working with managers and senior teams. You should have a solution focused approach and be open to creative approaches and new ideas. You need to be able to inspire, develop and coach staff and be able to produce reports to deadlines. Ideally you will be able to have an innovative approach to development of new OD interventions and engage positively with staff and stakeholders.

The role is available from 1st April 2025. or earlier by negotiation.
