The role:

As the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, you will play an integral role in supporting and embedding this agenda across the institution. You will work collaboratively to support and influence colleagues of all levels to realise the vision and successfully implement the identified priorities and activities at both an institutional and School/Service level. You will play a key role in providing advice, increasing engagement, and raising the profile of our workstreams, whilst also delivering a range of institutional initiatives. You will specifically support activity in relation to the student community and assist colleagues who directly engage with our student body.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion role, with a strong understanding of best practice and legislation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to analyse data and use insights to drive informed decision-making.
  • Experience in developing and delivering Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training and awareness programmes.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive, equitable workplace and driving positive cultural change.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a genuine commitment and passion to continue to further embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion into our everyday processes and practices.
