Applications are invited for the above full-time temporary 6 month post working in the School of History, Law & Social Sciences.
Reporting to the Directors of the National Centre for Religious Education in Wales, the Operations & Events Officer will organise and co-ordinate a range of events as on behalf of the National Centre for Religious Education in Wales ensuring that activities are planned and implemented in conjunction with, and are supported by, the relevant College and University teams.
The role holder will be educated to A Level or NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject area, have good organisational and communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with relevant stakeholders including UK Schools Recruitment, International Recruitment, Central Marketing, Alumni Relations, ITS, Research,) as well as external schools and businesses.
Candidates should be familiar with the HE environment and have previous experience of organising events and report writing.
The ability to build relationships and collaborative partnerships across the organisation and externally will be vital.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence March 2025.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
