About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Psychopharmacology and Psychiatry with expertise in addiction and psychedelic science to lead clinical and mechanistic research on addiction including developing and implementing brain imaging (PET/MRI/EEG) measures and to contribute to the psychedelic research in Centre for Psychedelic Research (CPR) at Imperial. You will join an internationally recognised group of academics carrying out exciting research in addiction and psychedelic science.
What you would be doing:
You will set up a competitive, well-funded, programme of research that applies the latest brain imaging (PET/MRI/EEG) measures to increase understanding of the therapeutic potential and mechanisms of psychedelics. Your expertise in addiction and psychopharmacology will help build important international collaborations. You will also make important contributions to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training in disciplines underpinning psychiatry and mental health.
