The role
We are looking to expand our team with inspirational Associate Lecturers (ALs) who have a passion for delivering high quality learning experiences along with substantial industry experience gained through teaching, relevant industry experience or both.
You may be currently working in a relevant industry and/or have spent time working in a relevant industry and may be interested in combining this with your enthusiasm and ability to pass on your knowledge and experience by creating and delivering high quality learning, teaching, and assessment.
We are looking for people who can teach in the following areas:
You will be asked to write and facilitate modules for postgraduate students, in an asynchronous online format, and will also contribute to the continuous improvement of learning activities and assessments. Dissertation supervision may also be part of your role.
Becoming an AL can be an excellent introduction to teaching in higher education. Some teaching experience would be an advantage; however, you may have well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical considerations from an academic and/or professional perspective in one or more of the aspects related to Nursing Studies as listed above.
The role of the Associate Lecturer is not a full-time job so please contact us for more information on the hours available.
