The Business System manager is responsible for managing and delivering a suite of business systems to support key areas that include Finance, Payroll, HR, Academic Registry, and work placement.
The role will manage the Systems management team to support, maintain and develop the core business critical systems portfolio. Be part of the DTS management team contributing to the design and development of the University’s IT and Digital strategic plans.
And will work in partnership with system and stakeholder owners to ensure the management and maintenance of systems, works in line with business needs and priorities.
The role will manage and support key systems as part of the Nexus programme. Lead on the monitoring, reporting and resolution of issues, motivating the team to deliver optimal solutions and outcomes. While providing project management and support for the implementation of new business systems, liaising with business/stakeholder owners, partners, suppliers, and sector-based user groups
