This role will be responsible for supporting a programme of research and evaluation at UAL Awarding Body, to assist in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and the dissemination of meaningful insights.
This work helps us understand and communicate the impact of the Awarding Body across the education sector, and the journeys taken by the many thousands of students completing one of our qualifications each year.
The role will also support the Awarding Body in navigating policy change and reforms from government and regulators, through evidencing the value of pre-degree creative education, with a particular focus on outcomes for students from under-represented groups, and those facing barriers to participation and progression to Higher Education.
About you
You should have previous experience of working with both quantitative and qualitative data in support of research and evaluation activities, as well as writing and sharing comprehensive summaries and insights of findings for various audiences.
You will be able to present and explain complex information in an engaging and accessible way to non-data experts.
You must have previous experience of sourcing datasets and working on spreadsheets for small to medium scale projects and have good attention to detail in your analysis and interpretation.
Experience or knowledge of institutional data (FE, HE) and sector approaches to access and inclusion would be desirable.
