About the Role
The Senior Primary Care Facilitator will lead local primary care workstreams such as enhanced services, QOF, and data quality in their assigned area and act as its operational lead for CEG. They will visit practices, attend meetings, and collaborate with North East London commissioners, GP Federations, and Primary Care Networks. It is a highly visible role, engaging with both clinical and non-clinical staff across NEL and relevant NHS organisations.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience working in primary care and strong sector knowledge. They will demonstrate experience facilitating change, including excellent negotiation skills with key stakeholders, and be proficient in at least one clinical system. They will also possess analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and computer skills, and be able to facilitate multidisciplinary groups and workshops. About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Wolfson Institute of Population Health harnesses expertise across a wide range of population based research and education activities and aims to be an internationally recognised centre of excellence in population health, primary care and preventive medicine.
The post-holder will work in the Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG), which is composed of academics, researchers, clinicians, and facilitators who use data-driven tools and research to improve population health in North East London and beyond.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for one year, with an expected start date of March 2025. The starting salary will be Grade 5 (£43,305-£50,685 per annum), inclusive of London Allowance. Staff are currently hybrid working and are expected to work on site 2-3 days per week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
