The School of Global Affairs (SGA) has an exciting opportunity available to join our undergraduate programme administration team as a Senior Programmes Officer (maternity cover*). Part of the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy, the SGA offers on-campus programmes across a number of departments such as the Departments of Geography, International Development, and Global Health & Social Medicine. About the role
We're seeking an experienced, enthusiastic UGT Senior Programmes Officer (SPO) who is passionate about supporting undergraduate cohorts and programmes.
The SPO role provides essential administrative support to students and academics. Working in a fast-paced environment, the role includes taking responsibility to resolve complex queries and issues, supporting activities such as timetabling and the production of handbooks, using databases and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate student data on progress and achievement, and delivering a high-quality service across the student lifecycle. Working with colleagues to plan and coordinate a varied set of activities, you will have opportunities to further develop your knowledge of regulations and process and be part of professional networks promoting best practice. As part of the King’s community, you’ll work alongside inspiring academic staff, administrators and students.
The role will report to the School Programmes Manager (UGT) and is based at Bush House on the Strand campus. Professional services staff are currently working on a hybrid basis, meaning that the role holder will spend part of their working week on campus and the remainder working remotely.

This is a full-time time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an fixed-term contract for 6 months. King’s College London operates a hybrid working policy and you will be required to spend a minimum of two working days per week on campus.
