Every colleague has a vital role to play in helping us achieve this vision.
About the role:
The School of Medicine and Dentistry is looking for an Associate Dean to lead in the area of Innovation for the School. This exciting role is for a doctor experienced in innovation who will join the senior team of the School to develop and implement innovative practice into all we do: our teaching, assessment, knowledge exchange and research. The role involves ensuring the adoption of cutting-edge, evidence-based educational practices and technologies to enhance the school's educational offerings, thereby enhancing the student experience. We can therefore ensure that our learners; whether undergraduates or professionals undertaking higher qualifications or CPD activities, are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to perform effectively in the healthcare environment of the future.
About you:
The successful candidate will have experience of managing and co-ordinating resources and working with regulatory processes and governance systems, and an understanding of the sector, its current issues, priorities and challenges and their relevance to the cultural context of the School. You will have MBBS and registration with the General Medical Council and hold or qualify for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) or equivalent. You must have the ability to lead a change agenda and to embrace new ways of working and have experience of cross-University collaboration in the delivery of new initiatives.
