As a leading provider of further education (FE) pre-degree qualifications, UAL Awarding Body is growing to meet the increasing demand for its regulated qualifications that inspire transformative education for young people.
The Quality Assurance & Enhancement (QAE) Officer is responsible for developing, managing and reviewing policies and processes that support the core business functions of the quality assurance team. They are responsible for implementing and maintaining effective quality assurance policies and processes to ensure that quality standards are consistently met.
The QAE Officer will work supportively and collaboratively to proactively monitor processes to ensure that any quality concerns are promptly identified and resolved or escalated to the QAE Management team. They provide expert guidance and support stakeholders, ensure that policies and procedures are consistently applied and support activities to address any areas for improvement.
This role is an ideal opportunity to be part of a growing awarding organisation where the work is both stimulating and varied and makes a meaningful impact to the lives of young people and inspires educators who deliver our qualifications.
About you
You are motivated, hardworking, highly organised and a skilled problem solver, who can work independently, with accuracy and attention to detail. You excel at analysing complex information and producing clear, evidence-based reports.

You will also be able to negotiate solutions and confidently communicate with staff.
You will have experience of working in a quality function of an organisation, ideally an Awarding Body and knowledge of Ofqual, CCEA and Qualifications Wales.
