The opportunity
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for student support? Join our dynamic team at the University Academic Registry as a Senior Administrator (Immigration Compliance) and play a pivotal role in maintaining and protecting our Student Sponsor licence and supporting our diverse student body.
You will provide instrumental support to the Immigration Compliance team by undertaking various immigration compliance tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and managing students' immigration compliance cases.
You will actively engage in immigration compliance projects and provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the University. This will ensure that all processes align with Home Office compliance requirements for students subject to immigration control, whilst fostering a supportive environment for our international student community.
About you
If you are a personable and positive individual with demonstrable knowledge and experience of student immigration compliance in the UK higher education sector, we want to hear from you!
Expertise in Student Route visa record-keeping and reporting, along with substantial experience in higher education roles, is absolutely essential for this position.
You must be process driven and have the ability to monitor the effectiveness of procedures and contribute to their evolution and improvement to reflect changing UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) requirements.
The ability to work closely with central services, colleges, and institutes while effectively communicating and providing support and guidance to both administration and academic staff on immigration compliance, will also be crucial.
