We have an exciting opportunity in Research and Innovation Services (RIS) for a Contracts Officer. This is a great role for anyone wishing to use their legal knowledge and drafting skills to support life-changing research and innovation.

Our department supports activities across the research and innovation lifecycle from opportunity, application, award, project management, impact, knowledge exchange, reporting outcomes, commercialisation and everything in between. As a Contracts Officer with RIS, you’ll be key to supporting this work.
About the role
You will join a small team of professionals supporting the University's research contract portfolio. This role is pivotal in supporting academics and managing legal risks for the institution. To do this you need to have:

About you
We are looking for someone with a legal qualification, preferably with prior knowledge and experience of University administration and policy with the excellent interpersonal skills needed to interact sensitively and appropriately with academic and other professional services colleagues (including senior colleagues), as well as manage external relationships.
This role is an excellent fit for individuals with relevant experience looking to develop their career and gain broader experience.
