40 hour working week, which will be 36.5 hours per week plus 3.5 hours contracted overtime at 1.5 hours.
Working pattern will be 4 x 10 hour shifts per week (start and finish times to be confirmed).

WMG, a vibrant, cutting-edge research institution at the University of Warwick, are seeking to appoint a Process Technician to provide technical support for the Energy Innovation Centre (EIC). The EIC includes a £13 million Battery Materials Scale-Up Pilot Line the development of new battery chemistries from concept through to fully proven traction batteries, in sufficient quantities for industrial scale testing. The Process Technician role will be associated with WMG’s partnership with UKBIC in the delivery and operation of the Flexible Pilot Line (FPL) – hosted at UKBIC.
The role requires relevant experience in a related engineering discipline as you will be responsible for providing support to both internal and external delegates. As a result, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of awareness for health and safety. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles would be an advantage.
