Job description:
We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Clinical Dentistry for someone with a passion for project management and oversight looking to use their skills to work as a Translational Research Project Officer in Medical Technologies for our EPSRC Placed-based Impact Acceleration Account (PBIAA).
You will work closely with our local academic Principal Investigator (Professor Paul Hatton) and Co-investigator (Professor Ipsita Roy) to monitor project progress to ensure that the University meets the funder’s requirements. You will provide dedicated project monitoring to specific PBIAA research projects, which typically have commercial or product development potential. You will assist with organising events related to the PBIAA. This scheme supports knowledge exchange and the translation of fundamental scientific discoveries toward realised human health benefits where the EPSRC require the establishment of appropriate management systems to ensure effective progress monitoring.
You will have good communication skills across a variety of formats and proven capacity to work flexibly, independently and as part of a team, good organisational skills would also be beneficial.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
