The Lakeside Restaurant and coffee shop are part of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management which is ranked 1st in the UK and 2nd in the world for hospitality and tourism management in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2023. We are further 1st in the UK for hospitality and leisure management in the QS World University Rankings by subject 2024.
This is a unique operation led by a team of professional staff and ably assisted (during semester time) by talented students studying in the Schools’ BSc International Hospitality Management programme.
The role
Lakeside is recruiting a Team Leader to join our front of house supervisory team. The postholders key responsibilities will be to ensure consistency and quality of customer service and operations, predominantly within our fast paced and exciting coffee shop. In addition, the post holder will have an opportunity to cross train and may also be required to assist with restaurant operations and events when needed.
