The above part-time post is available immediately in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences as part of the University of Exeter team in the HRDC Cornwall. This post is available at 0.6FTE (3 days a week) on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2028. There may be a possibility of increasing the hours to full-time later in the project.
The post offers the option of hybrid working, based at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health at the University of Exeter’s Penryn Campus in Cornwall. Regular in-person attendance at events, meetings and activities in Cornwall is expected.

Based in the University of Exeter’s HDRC team, this post will support the innovative HDRC Cornwall, The HDRC in Cornwall aims to establish research-focused partnerships and ways of working in Cornwall Council and its communities and Universities to reduce health inequalities and improve the health of the residents of Cornwall. Creating a culture of using research and evidence in the Council and communities of Cornwall for the good of all.
About you
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study. The successful applicant will be familiar with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including participatory methods. They will also be able to work collaboratively, supervise the work of others and act as team leader as required. Applicants will have experience working with, or in, Local Authority organisations.
