Research at the Business School has an applied focus, is policy and practice led, and is of both national and international relevance.
Currently, we are recruiting a Research Assistant to support two interrelated initiatives that aim to drive systemic change in Scotland’s social enterprise and sustainability sectors.
The Role:
This role is an excellent opportunity for you as an early career academic, to provide valuable support to two studies currently being undertaken within our Business School.
As Research Assistant, you will have the chance to use your strong research and analytical skills, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative methods, to identify challenges social enterprises encounter in complying with sustainability standards, as part of one study.
For the other study, you will have the remit to use your excellent written/verbal communication skills and organisational skills to provide logistical and administrative support to finalise and document the discussion data from the Impact Investment Symposium 2024.
We expect that you will have excellent time-management skills to handle diverse tasks efficiently and therefore be in an excellent position to collaborate with the project lead and stakeholders on project objectives, while contributing to the preparation of materials, such as follow up agendas, action groups, speaker notes, and discussion summaries.
