About Us
The Student Operations Department falls within the Students & Education Directorate. Areas covered by the Department include Examinations, Assessments and Timetabling Services which the Research Degrees Examinations Team sits within. This is a hybrid post with the requirement to work from the office one day a week.
About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Research Degrees Examinations Team to join a busy team. The post holder will provide administrative support to the research degrees examinations process and will be part of the Research Degrees Examinations Team, consisting of three Research Degrees Coordinators and the Research Degrees Manager The purpose of the role is to case manage the different stages of the research degrees examination process from the entry stage to the final award.
Duties will include but not limited to processing examination entry forms, assisting in the appointment of external examiners and dealing with queries from a wide variety of people. The post holder will be responsible for the health sciences faculties in the first instance and will be required to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure a high quality and timely service.
We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative and be a team player. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential qualities to be successful in this interesting and varied role. This is a full time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
