About the role

Are you an experienced finance assistant with excellent organisational and communication skills, committed to deliver a high-quality service and commitment to continuous improvement? An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term role to cover maternity leave, within the universities Financial Operations team.

Within this varied role, you will primarily support the Financial Operations Manager with the day-to-day financial administration of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.

You will be a key member of the team, assisting with processing invoices and supporting suppliers through the University payment process, alongside key income tasks.

The role is customer focused requiring excellent communication skills to deal with internal and external enquiries. You will be proactive in delivering a high-quality service with a commitment to continuous improvement and responsive to change.

You should have recent Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience. Good IT skills are essential, and you must have excellent organisational skills, be able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
