The role
We are seeking a research associate as part of the NIHR funded Dementia internship programme to contribute to applied dementia research. This is an exciting opportunity to develop research skills while helping to further our knowledge and improve the care of people living with dementia (PLWD) and Parkinson’s. You will work across several projects, gaining experience in a variety of research techniques. Projects may include a qualitative evaluation of a rapid-access Parkinson’s clinic, co-designing a digital platform to enable more personalised domiciliary dementia care provision, a literature review on advanced care planning for neurodegenerative disorders or adapting quality of life questionnaires for PLWD. Other projects may arise subject to the approval of submitted funding applications. You will also have the opportunity to learn about health economics in the context of dementia research.
