Overview of the post
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer with an excellent research trajectory. You will be supported to develop an independent and aspirational research programme within the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology & Gastroenterology. Your programme will complement the Division’s multidisciplinary portfolio of research with links to both basic biological science and/or in the discovery-translational space. We are particularly interested in candidates researching in the field of tissue repair / fibrosis and liver cell biology. Working collaboratively, you will be a future leader in your area, driving world-leading research and enhancing our strengths across the Division and more broadly within the School of Medical Sciences and University. You will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes within the School of Medical Sciences and the wider University, with opportunities to develop curriculum, innovative teaching and provide an exceptional student experience through research-led learning.
