About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Physiotherapy (Education & Research). This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and highly committed research and education team with a broad range of expertise in rehabilitation and health research at King’s and to establish yourself as a leader in research. The post holder will be based within the Academic Teaching Department of Physiotherapy and the Rehabilitation and Health research group. They will work with existing teams in the School and wider Faculty to enhance our research excellence at an international, national and local level. By contributing to and delivering internationally leading research and education, it is an exciting opportunity to develop the career of a talented academic.
Through collaboration and drawing upon the academic expertise across the department, School and/or Faculty, the post-holder will be encouraged to develop and lead a strong, innovative and sustainable programme of research that not only supports their own work but also acts as a focus for other physiotherapists and allied health professionals wishing to pursue research or research training. As such, they will play a key role in mentoring and supporting other physiotherapists and allied health professionals to undertake research and/or PhDs.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
