We are seeking applications from Raman and Infrared Spectroscopists and Microscopists to work in a multidisciplinary project team to study novel functional surfaces and interfaces. You should have a PhD in physical chemistry, physics, surface science, materials science, biophysics, biomedical science or analytical and imaging science with a strong publication track record and a demonstrated commitment to excellence. Exceptional skills in Raman and Infrared Spectroscopy and Microscopy are essential. Expertise in imaging across chemical, materials and life sciences is desirable.
The position involves both research and innovation aspects and is offered for a 2 year tenure.
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
