We are looking for a proactive, positive, and flexible candidate who alongside primarily covering a weekday daytime schedule, will undertake a duty technician role on events each fortnight that will be outside of these core hours. This may include occasional overnight, weekends, customary and statutory days. You should have experience in technical theatre operations and an understanding of the legal framework of Health and Safety regulations. You should also be a competent IT user and able to use and quickly learn different systems and packages, including excel, word, CAD packages, and specialist theatre and cinema software. BECTU/UK Theatre get out payments and overtime payments may be applicable to the role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help lead and motivate a team of technical staff to deliver a seamless service to our customers. You will work collaboratively with colleagues within the technical, front-of-house and programming teams to provide an excellent customer experience. As an ambassador for Warwick Arts Centre, you will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of users and visitors, making a positive impact on their experience. You will also have the opportunity to keep up to date with technological developments in the Technical Theatre and performance industry, advising on their suitability for use at Warwick Arts Centre.
