About the role
We are seeking an ambitious, dynamic, and highly skilled Network Engineer to support and promote best practice use of our extensive network estate and essential services that benefit the experiences of our students and staff.
About you
Utilising your knowledge and experience as an experienced Senior Network Engineer, you will be working in a hands-on capacity, acting as a prominent team member, proactively managing and maintaining an extensive and developing technical infrastructure, whist ensuring our customers achieve maximum benefits from our network. Being ambitious, collaborative and showing strong initiative will be key to success.
About our Division
Led by our Director of IT Services and her Leadership team, we are now embarking on an ambitious programme of change. Over the coming years, this digital transition will be an ever-developing programme supported by senior stakeholders both financially and strategically. This University will be a very different world in years to come and aspires to achieve levels of performance and digital delivery yet unseen in the sector.
All of this is underpinned by major construction and estate renewal, an exciting programme of work to add thousands of accommodation spaces, and a network replacement project to install the latest digital infrastructure as part of the journey towards a fully data-enabled organisation.
