About Us:
DN Colleges Group seeks a Vice Principal - Business Growth, Skills and Partnerships to join our Senior Leadership Team. This role will shape our institution's future by leading Business Development, Marketing and Web, Student Recruitment, Admissions & Enquiries, and Projects & Contracts teams. You will collaborate with colleagues and external partners to drive sustainable growth. This role involves operating across various locations and representing the senior leadership team on campus when needed. You will develop and deliver an integrated strategy to meet or exceed recruitment plans across the College’s FE, HE, Adult, and Apprenticeship portfolio. Additionally, you will provide critical insights for curriculum development and create a commercial strategy to maximize the group's asset base. You will represent the College externally and foster strategic employer and business relationships.

The Role:
As Vice Principal – Business Growth, Skills and Partnerships, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive student recruitment strategy.
  • Drive marketing and promotional activities to enhance our presence and attract top talent.
  • Oversee business development initiatives, maximising commercial opportunities.
  • Provide critical insights to inform curriculum development and ensure responsiveness to market needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, funders, and partners.
  • Champion innovation and creativity in developing new skills and training solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead teams to deliver sustainable growth in key learner markets.
  • Ensure high-quality guidance and support services are embedded in recruitment models.
  • Report on recruitment plan implementation and impact to the SLT and Board.
  • Lead the Marketing & Web function to create engaging and professional narratives.
  • Oversee the pipeline of student recruitment activities from enquiry to enrolment.
  • Inform curriculum strategy with labour market intelligence and economic data.
  • Develop and implement a commercial strategy to generate additional income.
  • Lead on external funding bids and manage successful contracts.
  • Promote a culture of excellent customer service and values-centred leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven commercial leader with a background in business development and partnership building.
  • Experience in a related commercial environment (learning, development, skills, training).
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
