The Social Research Institute is one of the leading centres for social research in the UK. It is home to seven internationally renowned research units:

About the role

This includes developing learning resources that adhere to accessibility standards and delivering presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to our main audiences – students, academics and policy researchers. A key part of the role will involve incorporating user experience (UX) feedback to enable the continuous improvement of the online offerings.

The Educational / Learning Technologist will also be responsible for maintaining engagement with users by providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for the platforms. They will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the effective delivery of online learning content, as well as contributing to the wider activities of the CLOSER Education & Training team to support its mission to deliver comprehensive, accessible and high-quality learning resources and training.
