We are currently seeking an International Student Support Officer, to join our busy student services team. You will offer support to international students with complex health and wellbeing concerns and possible safeguarding needs, ensuring both academic success and better navigation of life-changing events.
You will assist students from the first point in their application to the University, through enrolment and welcome events to ongoing support and finally though to the transition in industry and employment.
The role offers the key pastoral relationships with international students, helping them to access our counselling services, as well as helping them find innovative and bespoke solutions to their needs.
The officer role is also responsible for the creation of wellbeing events, supporting relevant societies and campaigns to promote the good mental health and physical wellbeing of all our students.
