The Department of Media, Culture and Creative Industries draws together academic staff specialising in Advertising, Creative Writing, Cultural and Creative Industries, English, Media and Communications, Marketing Communication, Media Management, Media Production, Publishing, PR and Strategic Communication. Responsibilities
Candidates should be able to teach and design modules across Media Management in a way that is industry-focused and socially relevant. Specifically, the successful candidate will be able to teach the following modules on our BA Media and Communications and our MA Media Management degrees (as well as other related modules, as required by the Department):
Person Specification
The successful applicant will have a good first degree (ideally in Media, Management, Business, Communication, Marketing or a related field) and industry-derived expertise related to Media Management, for example in management roles in the film, television, gaming, publishing or another media industry.
We are looking for a team player and enthusiastic and committed teacher able to engage and enthuse a diverse student body that includes international students as well as students from widening participation backgrounds.
