We’re reimagining and relaunching Regular Giving (direct marketing fundraising) at UCL. This role is a unique opportunity to design and launch a programme from the ground up. You’ll have the backing of a highly-skilled team and a world-leading institution to build a programme that can inspire and engage our 400,000+ strong alumni community.
There has never been a more exciting time to join our Advancement office as we plan for our biggest ever fundraising and engagement campaign, launching 200 years since our foundation, in 2026.
You’ll be joining a team of ambitious, creative and passionate individuals, working together to achieve remarkable things. We’d love you to be a part of it.
At UCL we are a diverse community with the freedom to challenge and think differently. From cancer research to climate change, dementia to social inequality, the world is facing huge challenges and we’re determined to solve them together.
Equity, diversity and inclusion is important to us. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to give their best in a place where their unique experiences, perspectives and skills are seen as valuable assets.

About you
You’ll be experienced leading a successful direct marketing programme using mail and email (and ideally other channel experience too). Ideally, you'll have experience in the higher education or charity sector, however we're happy to hear from people who have transferable skills and experience drawn from other sectors too.
Your skills and mindset are crucial; we’re looking for a strategic and collaborative leader with a proactive approach to problem-solving. You’ll be adept at balancing the bigger picture with a diligent attention to detail. You’ll be able to spot strategic opportunities and build collaborative relationships inside and outside of the organisation to deliver, whilst ensuring the highest quality insight and data-led output in the programme.
