Are you passionate about helping students to achieve their best and being part of a team that helps others? Do you want to be a part of a new student facing service where no problem is too complex? If so, look no further.
We are looking for a Student Life Specialist to join colleagues in the Nest. In this varied role, our Student Life Specialists will help to deliver an excellent enquiry management and support service for our students, resolving issues on the spot and signposting to other services for specialised technical support. Student Life Specialists are the first point of contact for all student queries, working across campus at our hub sites and online.
You’ll be proactive, engaging and no issue will be too large to too small for you to get to grips with. You’ll be the first person that our new students, students in a crisis, or students who need a helping hand meet. You’ll champion the interests of students and embody the values of working at Roehampton. The ultimate goal is to ensure that any student enquiry is resolved on the spot, and if not, that you will develop a clear plan of how a resolution will be reached with the student.
You will need to be flexible over hours worked, which will include weekend and evening work within your contractual hours per week.
We expect that the Nest will be recognised as sector leading, and we are looking for colleagues who will help to deliver on our aspirations for the future.
At Roehampton, we change lives by helping our students to develop the confidence, knowledge and adaptability they need for a successful graduate career and fulfilling life.
We provide an engaging portfolio of courses across the creative arts, social sciences, law, humanities, literature, education, business, and human and life sciences, including nursing. We also have an excellent research profile. With international reach, our research informs policy, enriches culture, and improves people’s lives.
We are London’s Campus University, based on a beautiful 54-acre parkland campus. This short video will give you a taste of life at our wonderful campus and its excellent facilities.
Professional Services/Support staff up to Grade RU6 have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme; and on RU7 and above, have access to the University’s Retirement Savings Group Pension Plan, a defined contribution scheme, provided by Royal London. Our full range of benefits are available here.
