Background
City St George's seeks to recruit an experienced AV Technician to provide support of the audio visual equipment throughout the University.
Responsibilities
The role holder will be responsible for support of the audio visual equipment throughout the University. This will include maintenance, repairs and providing technical support for users of audio visual equipment and related applications. Additionally the post holder will provide training and guidance to staff, students and external users in the use of audio visual equipment and related applications.
Person Specification
Educated to A ‘level, HNC or NVQ3 level or equivalent, the post holder will have experience in the field of AV service as well as a wide range of IT and technical skills. They must possess a good range of communication and interpersonal skills and be analytical in problem solving. They will need good organisational, planning and prioritising skills with the ability to use initiative and to work independently. Excellent customer services skills are required including the ability to deal with contacts both within and outside the institution.
