The Department of Education, Practice and Society (EPS) has specialists from a wide variety of disciplines including history, sociology and philosophy who undertake research to support education throughout the life course by contributing to economic, social and political debate as well as development in societies, nationally and internationally.
The INCLUDE project drives institutional change towards gender equality and inclusiveness by co-designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative measures to advance Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) within seven public BioMedical Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) and one private Research and Technology Organization (RTO) using intersectional and intersectoral approaches.
The primary purpose of this role is to advance intersectional gender equality within the Biomedical Research & Innovation sector by supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) across a European consortium of research organisations.
You will be a strategic thinker and effective communicator with experience in gender equality, inclusivity, and organisational change.
Utilising your expertise as a gender specialist, you will bring a deep understanding of European GEPs, along with fluency in more than one European language, to drive inclusive strategies and build internal capacities within partner institutions.
Expertise with qualitative methods as well as organisational research will be essential. Examples of relevant expertise include: Experience of working with a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, extensive project management experience in European research projects focused on gender equality, along with a PhD in gender and organisational studies, are highly desirable.
This post is on a part-time basis (0.2 FTE/ 7.3 hours per week) and is initially funded until December 2026.
