This new full-time post is available from 1 February 2025 until 31 July 2026 on a fixed term basis.
Although we are recruiting posts on a fixed term basis, it is highly likely that, subject to funding, the posts can be extended.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements but would require a minimum commitment of 4 sessions (two days), two (one day) of which should be Tuesday.
This post is an opportunity to join the research team on the NHS-funded Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme (Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) | Postgraduate Study - PhD and Research Degrees | University of Exeter) for 0.8 FTE and the Doctorate in Clinical Research Programme for 0.2 FTE, both in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences in the Professional Doctorates in Psychology (DCPGR) and Clinical Associate in psychology: Degree Apprenticeship (MCAPS) Portfolio in the department in of Psychology.
The role
The role of Lecturer (Education and Scholarship) will include supporting the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery appropriate to the teaching allocated, specifically, under guidance, providing doctoral level research supervision of trainee research projects (empirical and quality improvement); of systematic literature reviews; and supporting the delivery of related activities which underpin the research modules of this programme. The post-holder will work in our lively and collaborative research team delivering excellent research training on this NHS-funded clinical training programme.
This may be an exciting opportunity for a someone who has recently obtained their PhD or wishes to make a career move into Higher Education, to join the Research Team on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme.
