About the Role
The post holder will be joining the Centre for Preventive Neurology at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London. They will work within the Parkinson`s disease (PD) group, whose studies focus on the clinical, genetic and biomarker aspects in people with PD and at risk of PD.
The Clinical Research Fellow will undertake research assessments and investigations as part of the clinical research team and under the supervision of the Professor for Neurology and Neuroepidemiology and the Consultant Neurologist at the Centre for Preventive Neurology. The post-holder will be expected to assist with specific aspects of PPMI and related projects. These include clinical assessments, biological sample collection, data analysis/quality control and patient management and recruitment.
About You
Candidates must have a Medical degree (MB BS or equivalent) and an MRCP or equivalent post graduate qualification would be desirable. Experience working with clinical research data, a good understanding of the research process and neurological examination skills are essential.

The post is based in Charterhouse Square. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 7 months with the possibility of extension. The salary will be on a Medical Doctor Grade CT1 – ST5 (£49,909 - £61,825) per annum plus London Allowance.
