We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
Would you like to work as part of a great team, providing lecturing and support to students on specific programmes within our education provision?
You will be expected to draw on practical teaching experience as well as academic knowledge to enrich the students’ learning on our undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes. The Institute of Education’s academic provision incorporates a number of programmes with direct links to the teaching profession and supports a range of professional partnerships. A willingness to engage with the delivery of a variety of subject areas across education programmes is therefore essential.
Qualified Teacher status is an essential requirement for this role.
