The Opportunity
Your role will be supporting our teaching staff in the practical delivery of the curriculum while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines. You will prepare practicals for a range of Level 1 - Level 6 students for Biology and Chemistry practical’s across all land-based curriculum areas. In addition to this, you will be required to write, maintain and update risk assessments and standard operating procedures within the Lab, stock take and order items where necessary, monitor and service lab equipment on a regular basis (where applicable and is within your remit), and ensure all COSHH records are complete and up to date.

About you
With a science background, it is essential that you have strong organisational skills with a thorough and meticulous approach. Knowledge of the practical delivery in Level 3 - Level 6 specifications for Chemistry and Biology is desirable. It is important that you can deal with a wide range of people, be efficient, effective and productive and have excellent communication skills and an organised approach to your work.
