Working within the Princess Margaret and Elizabeth Creak Laboratory, we are looking to recruit a Laboratory Assistant to provide laboratory support and excellent washroom services whilst assisting the central service support team who are responsible for the provision of laboratory services to the University.
The team ensures the provision of practical classes to taught students and support to research students and staff in four key subject areas: Soils and Environmental Science; Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Animal Health; General Biology; Nutrition.
We are a professional, technical, team consisting of 12 permanent staff with different professional backgrounds and experiences. We also have two placement students.

The successful candidate will have a good general standard of education, prior experience of working for an employer and complying with health and safety rules, exceptional cleaning, tidying and organisational skills and the ability to work independently, flexibly and well with others.
