An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate join the School of Health Sciences to conduct research on dementia care in care homes.
As a Research Associate you will contribute to the research programme, analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes.
You will have a graduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience and be able to plan and manage your own workload, meet deadlines and work with attention to detail. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). You will be a competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint and be able to analyse and interpret data. You will have knowledge and experience of dementia care and/or care home care and previous research experience.
This full-time post is available from 1 April 2025 on a fixed term basis for 12 months with the possibility of extension. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
