Soft FM Services are responsible for cleaning and portering services to the university’s academic, administrative, and residential estate. Soft FM facilitates all university key events, such as graduation and open days and ensures areas are prepared for other events such as receptions and summer conferences.
Soft FM Services is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Team Clean Supervisor to join our busy team.
Duties of the Role
As part of your position as Team Clean Supervisor, you will lead, manage, and motivate Soft FM operational staff to provide a quality customer focused service to the academic and residential estate, ensuring that Soft FM Services are delivered and maintained to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for accurate completion of departmental statutory paperwork.
This position is for 38 hours per week – current working pattern is Monday – Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
Skills and qualifications required
In order to be successful, you must have experience of managing team(s) of semi-skilled staff in a customer focused environment, and knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to cleaning materials and working practises. Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage the performance of staff effectively.
