We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Library Services team as a Library Assistant. We are committed to providing exceptional services and resources and believe in the transformative power of education. You will be passionate about supporting learning, teaching and research in an academic environment, and recognise the crucial role that Libraries play in supporting our community by providing excellent customer service, research support, and contributing to the overall enhancement of the student experience.
You will be user-focused with the ability to work independently but also be a great team player. You will be self-motivated, able to demonstrate good IT skills and be keen to embrace new technologies as well as new ways of working.
Through joining our team, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative small team. Your ability to communicate and work effectively as part of the team will be essential.
The postholder will be expected to work one evening per week until 6pm during term.
This is a full-time maternity cover position. Anticipated start date: as soon as possible.
